Ground school typically refers to the preparation for flight lessons and studying for the FAA Knowledge (written) Exam. There are numerous online versions of ground school.
I periodically offer face-to-face ground school courses. These courses are designed to help you acquire the skills and information to pass the FAA Knowledge Exam. I enjoy the interaction and excitement of talking about flying with a room full of new and aspiring pilots. Here is the flyer for my next ground school which will be starting January 12, 2026.
